Lisa J. Beard-Niemann is the Director of Employee Plans, Examinations, within the Tax Exempt & Government Entities Division (TEGE) of the IRS. She is responsible for overseeing the national compliance enforcement programs for qualified retirement plans.
Lisa was previously with the Large Business and International Division (LB&I). She served as both the Assistant to the Industry Director, Global High Wealth, and the Assistant to the Director of Advance Pricing Mutual Agreement, Office of Transfer Pricing, International.

Jen began her career with the federal government at the Atlanta Regional Office of the Employee Benefits Security Administration in 2002 as a Student Benefits Advisor. She converted to a full time Investigator in 2004 and since that time has worked as an Investigator, Senior Investigator, Supervisory Investigator and is now the Associate Regional Director.
