Financial Reporting

This session will cover financial reporting for a defined contribution plan. This is a continuation of the defined contribution case study and will utilize the case study financial statements. Facilitators recommend bringing your laptop to this session to fully participate in the case study.

Mark Blackburn

Mark, a Certified Public Accountant, leads LBMC’s employee benefit audit practice and has more than twenty years of plan audit experience. His experience includes auditing defined contribution, defined benefit, employee stock ownership and health and welfare plans; including limited-scope and full scope audits for both public companies and privately-held businesses. Mark is a former member of the AICPA's Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center Executive Committee and a current member of the AICPA's Employee Benefit Plan Expert Panel.

Anne Morris

Anne Morris, CPA, Director Anne started her career in public accounting in 2001 and serves as a Director and Practice Leader in Windham Brannon’s Employee Benefit Plan Practice. The Practice performs audit services for over 100 benefit plans. She works closely with clients during all phases of the audit in order to ensure the overall audit process is effective, efficient, and completed in a timely manner. She has experience with 401k, 403b, pension, and 11-k audits.
