Common Prohibited Transactions

This session will discuss how common transactions in the operation of an employee benefit plan can become a prohibited transaction. The speaker will briefly discuss the consequences of prohibited transactions, but this session is intended to teach the factual context that make the transaction subject to those excise taxes and reporting requirements. Learn how to prevent prohibited transactions and tricky areas that are often overlooked when reviewing a plan’s operation.
